Tartan ribbon is very popular in a number of fields, so whether your business is highlandwear retailing, kilt hire, floristry, wedding cakes, greetings cards, clothing and fashion, art and craft supplies, or you're involved in product design, packaging and marketing, we hope you'll find this trade site full of great tartan ribbon, simple to navigate and easy to place orders.
The main difference between this trade site and our main retail site is that we've removed all the tartan history pages and additional information about tartans, clans etc. in order to make the site as straightforward as possible - we realise you're busy and simply want to place an order as quickly and safely as possible.
Trade-tartan-ribbon.com offers full reels of tartan ribbon only. For smaller 5m top-up packs please use tartan-ribbon.com.
As is normal for a trade-only site, prices exclude VAT and shipping, both of which are calculated for you automatically at checkout. Trade customers outside the European Union are not charged VAT.
There is NO minimum order, but a small premium is built in to the shipping price for very small orders to enable us to handle orders for as little as one reel, still at competitive trade prices.
Our tartan ribbon is woven to British Standards in polyester, with stitched edges, is colourfast and approved for use with edible items. Other types of tartan ribbon (such as heat-sealed-edge taffeta) are clearly identified where they appear.

We are proud to be members of the Scottish Tartans Authority and all our tartan ribbon is authenticated by them.
Please note that not all tartans are available in all widths - as you browse the site you will see which widths are available in each tartan ribbon. We're happy to help with any questions but assume most trade customers are already familiar with the product, variations, quality etc. If in any doubt just ask! :o)

- non-UK orders are shipped Air Mail and declared as "commercial samples" to help customers avoid customs charges. We can arrange quotes for shipping large international orders.
